have i already mentioned i learned how to knit years ago just so i could make Harry Potter's Griffyndor scarves for my kids?  nerdy, i know.  but, look, i'm even MORE nerdy now; i'm yarnbombing things around me.

my sister is a crafty one.

I love my sister. she made a really neat birthday card for my boyfriend (who likes Volkswagen buses a lot). She insists if she had more time, she could have done a better job, but if she can do this well for the last-minute request i made, I can't even imagine how cool a "more time" card would have turned out. Thanks, Sis; you rock..!

I was in Vacaville, CA for an all-day seminar, and I couldn't help staring (in minor annoyance) at her outfit. it was almost 100 degrees, and she had on a long-sleeved top, Uggs, and freakin' legwarmers. UGGS. AND. FREAKIN. LEGWARMERS. 

sorry, it's neither cute, stylish nor fashionable. it was 100 freakin' degrees..!!  ohhh, she'd look mighty damn cute passed out on the ground from heat exhaustion..!!  moron.
